CBM Thailand’s Commitment to Sustainable Solutions Through U-Energy
Keeping in line with their goal of creating sustainable solutions in a globally competitive environment, CBM Thailand (CBMT) has partnered with UOB’s U-Energy – the first integrated financing platform to drive the development and adoption of energy-efficient projects for residential and commercial buildings in Asia.
Officially launched on 23rd March 2022, the U-Energy project supplements Thailand’s plans to reduce the excessive use of energy and improve energy efficiency. U-Energy enables participating organizations to benefit from flexible financing options as they embark on the road to sustainability for present and future projects in the built environment.
CBMT has committed itself to tap into this resource as it complements its core IFM services, providing equipment and system integration to clients with cost-saving measures in mind. This new funding will allow CBMT to open its doors to more diverse projects while supporting the government’s commitment to reducing emissions.
To kickstart this initiative, CBMT will look into reworking its chiller projects with the goal of reducing the cost of electricity usage by up to 5% for existing clients.
The U-Energy platform is also available in Singapore with CBM Solutions, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CBM, as a participating partner since 2021.
As a strong advocate for a brighter future, CBM is always looking to ride the green wave of growth in providing innovative solutions and enhancing productivity. The U-Energy project can play a significant role in boosting our IFM services with the implementation of green solutions for clients both locally and overseas.
