CBM Celebrates Lunar New Year with a Roaring Start!

CBM ushered in the Year of the Rabbit in a spectacular fashion with our first physical celebrations since 2019. On 1 Feb 2023, our CBM family finally came together to kick off this joyous event on a high note with a roaring Lion Dance performance.

The event was graced by the presence of CBM Group Chairman, Mr. Chia Ngiang Hong, Group General Manager of City Developments Limited (CDL), who was accompanied by CBM's CEO, Mr. Roy Chiang.

As the celebrations went into full swing, CBM took this opportunity to recognize our long-serving staff for their dedication and commitment over the years with an annual awards presentation. This included recognizing those with over 15, 25, and 30 years of service.

Our staff and guests were then treated to a sumptuous lunch, including the traditional tossing of the Yusheng. The joyous event concluded with a lucky draw, where over 200 prizes were up for grabs.

Although our Central Laundry Plant (CLP) staff (from Systematic Laundry) could not attend the celebration at HQ with us, it did not stop them from their own festive celebrations. On 26 Jan 2023, Systematic held a staff appreciation lunch to recognize their hard work and dedication.

Staff were treated to a delectable feast from an Old Chang Kee (OCK) food truck and a retro ice cream kiosk. Each staff was delighted to receive a specially curated lunch bento box. This event was a small token of gratitude for their perseverance over the years. It was heartening to see everyone come together to enjoy a day filled with laughter, good food, and camaraderie.

There's nothing like the atmosphere of a physical celebration, and we look forward to commemorating many more moments together. At CBM, we emphasize fostering a strong sense of community and family, and this Lunar New Year celebration was a testament to that. We are proud of our staff for their unwavering commitment to excellence and dedication to serving our clients with passion and integrity.
