CBM Runs Over 10,000 Kilometres for the Relay Majulah Challenge

CBM runs Relay Majulah 2023 for charity

The CBM team ran over a span of six days collectively to raise funds for the Community Chest Heartstrings Walk 2023.

Staff from CBM banded together to raise funds for the Community Chest Heartstrings Walk 2023 through the Relay Majulah Challenge. The goal was to clock a distance of 4,000 kilometres and raise up to S$40,000.

Co-hosted by the Community Chest Singapore and Marina Bay Sands, the annual event involves the community in contributing to support those in need. 100% of these funds will go to the Community Chest to assist over 100 social service agencies for the cause.

CBM’s staff – including representatives from other CBM entities – donned their running shoes on 10 Jul 23, and ran every week for a month. At the end of July, CBM successfully raised over S$31,000 for the less fortunate and covered a distance of over 10,000 kilometres.

The participants were happy that they could help garner contributions to help the needy while keeping themselves fit during the period.

CBM would like to thank our staff and fellow partners for this year’s fundraising efforts.

We look forward to running again for the Relay Majulah Challenge in 2024 and are committed to positively impacting those in need.
