CBM launches Safety Campaign 2024 at its Headquarters

CBM recently launched its Safety Campaign 2024 at its headquarters with the theme of "Always Time for Safety" and its key message: "Think Safe, Work Safe, Go Home Safe." The launch opened with an impactful address delivered by our CEO, Mr Roy Chiang, marking the kick-off to the campaign.

Our COO, Mr Lee Liang Huat, shared about the CBM Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) policy and emphasised the four CORE Principles of the Approved Code of Practice: Clarity, Organisational, Review, and Empower. The code comprises measures to strengthen Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) at CBM. He also delved into the OH&S Performance in 2023, evaluating our past performance and identifying areas for improvement.

Following COO’s sharing session, several Operations Managers from CBM's subsidiaries and groups shared their case studies and valuable learning points related to workplace safety. Their insights highlighted the importance of proactive measures in maintaining a safe working environment. Each operational division and subsidiary were given the campaign poster, with every site staff receiving a Risk Assessment Card—a daily reminder to uphold safety standards. At CBM, workers’ safety is our top priority. Let us take the pledge to "Think Safe, Work Safe, Go Home Safe". Together, we will pave the way for a safer workplace.
